Eno Joseph Jerome is a Sociologist, a Social Worker, a dynamic Gender-Based Violence responder, a friend of the less privileged and an Employee of Akwa Ibom State Government. She obtained B.Sc in Sociology and a Diploma in Social Work from the prestigious Unical. Mrs Jerome has served as Programme Coordinator, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) programme; Desk Officer in charge of registration and Sensitization of Women Groups on skill Development/small scale Businesses; Member-Gender Based Violence Technical Working Group (GBVTWG), a trained Counsellor on Gender-Based Violence, member (Critical Mass) Akwa Ibom State Acton on Aids (AKSACA); member – Technical Working Group on Orphans and Vulnerable Children. She also renders Volunteer Services through the establishment of an NGO viz- “Friends of the Less Privileged ” to train the less privileged on livelihood skills as well as give financial support for empowerment. Eno Joseph Jerome hails by birth from Ukanafun and by marriage from Ika. Her hobbies include Singing hymns/Classical music.
