The Akwa Ibom Gender Based Violence Management Committee is hosting the first Akwa Ibom State Boys’ Conference 2022, in commemoration of the International
Details are on the flier!
Where would you rather be?😁😁
Male children in most homes are strangers, they are rarely cared for intentionally, their academics once paid for seems complete and they are generally unattended to.
They are in most homes very lonely, they are presumed to be matured even when he’s a toddler. He’s reprimanded from showing his emotions whether angered or excited, he is left to figure out his life alone hence, he’s avoidable mistakes.
Parenting a boy child is a serious calling because the child becomes a husband, father, brother, mentor, boss, planner etc.
In politics the boy child is the predominant player so training male children should not be treated with levity or his future a product of happenstance.
Therefore, the training is a collective duty but first it starts at home, the primary area of growth and learning.
So is you are a parent, guardian, mentor, teacher, a potential of the above groups or anyone who is interested in the development and training of young people, attend this programme and let do the talk together.
Personally, I have volunteered for numerous organisations as well as paid to facilitate trainings on liked matters.
However, we can’t stop there because we still have a lot to achieve, so the train moves.
