The Gender Based Violence Management Committee of Akwa Ibom State under the Chairmanship of her Excellency Dr.(Mrs) Martha UDOM commissioned a SARC
For the benefit of humanity, the Akwa Ibom State Restoration Clinic ( Sexual Assault Referral Center) was today. 9th September 2022, commissioned and officially opened for operations by His Excellency, Mr. Moses Ekpo, MFR, the Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State.

The Clinic, which is located within the premises of the General Hospital, Ikot Ekpene will be managed by the Akwa Ibom State Gender Based Violence Management Committee and shall offer free medical treatment for all victims of Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV).

We thank Her Excellency, Dr. Martha Udom Emmanuel, Chairperson of the Committee for seeing this vision through. We also thank R.I.S.E one of our major partner.
